A visionary business champion who for 25 years was the driving force behind the establishment of Eville & Jones as what was the world's largest specialist provider of elite outsourced veterinary services.

The Yorkshire-based company became the provider of choice for national governments and industry alike.

Jason employed over 750 personnel internationally and led the diversification programme for the business, significantly expanding its range and scope of services.

The Eville & Jones Group of companies delivered a vast assortment of commercial offers and outsourced Government controls across Europe and Australasia. When Jason as in charge The Group defined world-class standards and stood alone in all aspects of quality, value for money and organisational integrity.

He is now delivering advanced technical solutions to the agri-food sector including working with Government and industry to find solutions to Brexit related challenges using AI and Machine Learning.

Jason has held numerous Board positions over the course of his career including with the British Veterinary Association, the Veterinary Public Health Association, Leeds Trinity University, Workforce Now and the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs.

He has represented his profession in Europe for over 20 years and served as Secretary General of the Union of European Veterinary Hygienists, representing the interests of more than 27000 vets for more than 12 years and is now the elected President.

Jason has extensive hands-on experience of crisis and change management, governance systems, peer-level consultancy and international service delivery within the food, animal health and animal welfare sectors.

Away from business, he has long been active in the voluntary and charitable sectors, and is a Provincial Grand Knight of the Knights of St Columba.

For 25 years Jason held an array of senior positions within the UK Conservative Party.

In 2017, he was awarded the British Empire Medal for Meritorious Service.
